Self Confidence, Return to Running, and Recovery Pop ups!

Happy Friday! Today’s newsletter is a little about self confidence, Kates return to running, and some of our exciting upcoming events!

How do you prove yourself and become confident in who you are?
With small wins every day.
Do things that help you become the person you want to be not wish to be.
Don’t be someone who is trying to read more, be someone who reads. Prove it to yourself by reading!
This is a simple but powerful example of how a simple change in mindset can help improve your confidence and help you become who you are, not wish to be.
Client Spotlight 🔦:
This week we are highlighting Kate.
Kate has been having difficulty with running longer distances. Every time she would want to run, the front of her shins would begin hurting in addition to her back.
While she could run, it wasn’t something she wanted to do for longer than a 1/10th of a mile (0.10 miles).
After a simple run assessment, we found that Kate needed a couple small tweaks to her run form. Small changes that were easily implemented in the same visit! Pair that with a few dynamic warmups and Kate was able to significantly decrease the discomfort in her legs and back.
She was able to improve her running distance by 8x as far as previously! Going from running 0.1 miles to 2 miles!

Friday November 15th: Recovery pop up for Friendsgiving Wellness Happy Hour at Sauna N’ Chill 5pm-8pm
Forward Physio will be providing free 10 minute recovery sessions including sports massage and cupping. There will be 11 other vendors at this event and special deals on cold plunges and sauna! Reserve tickets here 🎟️
Saturday November 23rd: Recovery Pop up at Cycle Bar Brandon from 8:30am-11:30am
Forward Physio will be at Cycle Bar Brandon providing recovery services to members who participate in any class that Saturday. If you don’t have a membership, no big deal! The first ride is free! Register for the class here 🎟️
Sunday November 24th: Recovery pop up at [solidcore] Hyde Park from 4:00-8:30
Dr. Nick and Dr. Danny will be popping up at [solidcore] Hyde Park to provide recovery sessions to members and individuals who take a class anytime between 4:00pm and 8:30pm! Learn about [solidcore] here. You cannot reserve a spot for this class quite yet, we will have an update in future newsletters!
