Happy Friday! We’re nearing the end of April already which means theres only about 3 more weeks of tolerable weather in Florida.
Inspiration:
Do what is right, not what people think you should do.
Almost like follow your gut…or your heart, but, slightly better. If Nick and Danny followed their gut it would just lead them to food and if they followed their heart it would lead them to the right atrium 🥁
Education:
Scared of deadlifting after a low back injury? Try these movements to regain your confidence with deadlifting.
Pain with overhead movements? Thoracic mobility is incredibly important for any overhead lift in addition to s p a c e in your shoulder joint. Do these.

Forward Physio Weekly Recap:
👩⚕️ Forward Physio had the opportunity to attend a Restore Hyper Wellness event where we learned about the benefits of the use of a Hyperbaric oxygen chamber, NAD+ IV drips, and cryotherapy. Shoutout to Jodi and Katie for hosting an incredible event and educating us on these life-changing wellness services. 🧊 Forward Physio was also able to try one of the hottest (but really, coldest) recovery tools in the fitness realm right now — a cold plunge. We plunged at Iceburg Cold Plunge where they offer not only cold plunges but also infrared sauna and red light therapy. Thats two times this week we subjected ourselves to freezing temperatures, purposely. BUT, for good reason as ice baths have been known to decrease inflammation, decrease muscle soreness, and boost circulation. Be sure to check them out!

Forward Physio Upcoming Events:
🏋️ Squat Workshop (sign up here) Saturday, May 4th 10 AM - 11 AM: Learn how to perfect your squat! Forward Physio will be presenting common squat mistakes, requirements for range of motion, and how to prepare yourself to squat well.
