Happy Friday! The longest day of the year just passed, not to be confused with what feels like the longest day of the year, the day at work before vacation.

Inspiration:

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” Something we find immense value in, which isn’t a new concept but is ridiculously important for success, is consistency. This piggy-backs off of the idea of “shiny object syndrome” (covered in this newsletter) where the new diet, workout routine, or business idea claims to be the key to your success.

While I am not saying new diets, workout routines, or business ideas do not hold any value, if you are consistently switching between different methods and having to learn an entirely new system, you are never going to give yourself the opportunity to be successful. Do the boring things, work towards your goal 1% everyday, and be consistent!

  • Adequate water intake aids in digestion, brain function, and joint lubrication? These are amongst the many benefits of staying hydrated. Read below to figure out how much water you should be drinking!

🚰 Hydration: As we head into summer, remember to stay hydrated! Here’s a general guideline on how much water you should be drinking:

  • 0.5 ounce per body weight for your minimum water intake, example 150 pounds = 75 oz water

  • 1 full ounce for your maximum water intake, example 150 pounds = 150 oz water

  • This may need to be adjusted depending on activity level and heat (i.e. increase intake if more active and/or in the heat)
